Concealed Handgun Class

If you would like to attend a Texas Concealed Handgun certification class at Wildcat Mountain Ranch you will need to complete the following things:

• Log on to http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/ and go to concealed handgun, then apply for new license. You will need to fill this out completely and pay the state fee with a credit card. When the state sends your package you need to bring this and all copies made from the website application with you to the class.

• Get passport photos. These can be attained at Walgreen’s or similar places for a small fee. You will need to bring these with you.

• Bring your handgun and at least 50 rounds of ammunition. The handgun required will need to be a minimum caliber of .32 or larger. I recommend a semi auto to qualify with, this will allow you to carry a revolver or semi auto upon completion and issuance of your license by the state.

The fee for the class is $100 payable at time of arrival.

The ranch will offer meals and lodging for $125 per day.

The class will be 10 to 15 hours in length.
